Call for Applications – Paid Internship Program within BEYOND

Within the project BEYOND – Balkans Engagement for Youth: Opportunities, Networking, Development, a call is open for young people who wish to gain practical experience through the European Civic Service program.
The program offers young people the opportunity to engage in activities that contribute to the local community and, through hands-on work, develop knowledge and skills in the fields of culture, tourism, and civic engagement.
Participants will have the opportunity, through practical work and mentorship support, to take part in developing initiatives that contribute to the improvement of Belgrade’s cultural content and tourism offer, as well as the development of new cultural programs and activities for the local community.
The program is implemented in cooperation with the following organizations:
Museum of the Nineties
KC Grad
The program includes:
● engagement in Serbia for 20–24 hours per week over a period of 6 months
● mentorship support and joint educational activities throughout the program
● monthly financial support in the amount of €300 during the program
During the program, participants will have the opportunity to gain experience through the following activities:
● participating in the preparation and implementation of cultural programs and events
● contributing to the development of initiatives that connect culture, tourism, and local development
● gaining experience working in civil society organizations and cultural institutions
● developing teamwork, communication, and project management skills
The engagement may include different areas, depending on participants’ interests, such as:
1. event production
2. project coordination and administration
3. digital communications and marketing
4. audience development and cultural tourism
5. fundraising
6. work in galleries and museums
Who can apply?
The call is open to young people who:
● are 18–30 years old
● are interested in civic engagement and community work
● are motivated to contribute to the development of cultural initiatives through practical work
The program is open to all young people — prior professional experience is not required. We especially encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, identities, and interests. Selection will primarily be based on motivation, interests, and willingness to learn and collaborate.
