Booking Balkan – Saša Ilić, Đorđe Krajišnik

As part of the Booking Balkan program at the Foundation M90, writer Saša Ilić (Serbia) and literary critic and journalist Đorđe Krajišnik (Bosnia and Herzegovina) were featured guests.

The 1990s form a central thread in Ilić’s literary work—shaped by his personal experience in 1991 and his confrontation with the outbreak of war—reflected in narratives marked by trauma, fear, and systemic violence. In his books Ilić revisits the 1990s not only as a historical period, but as a prolonged state of social and personal crisis that continues to resonate to this day.
