Book Launch: Toni by Rumena Bužarovska

On Tuesday, 3 February, starting at 7:00 pm, we will present the novel Toni by Macedonian writer Rumena Bužarovska. Toni is a novel about men who never learned how to grow up and who believe the world owes them something. In her first novel, Rumena Bužarovska masterfully portrays an anti-hero of our time who is trying to grasp what it means to be a man in a society that is changing faster than he can keep up with. Toni is a lucid study of self-deception, masculinity, and tradition—a mercilessly precise examination of society and its delusions—written in Bužarovska’s distinctive style: sharp, bitter, and laced with a dose of ruthless humor.

Tickets can be purchased in advance every day from 10 am to 8 pm at Museum 90, 3 Kneza Miloša Street, as well as on the day of the event, February 3.
