<\/span> 6. April 6, 2026<\/p>\nWithin the project BEYOND \u2013 Balkans Engagement for Youth: Opportunities, Networking, Development, a call is open for young people who wish to gain practical experience through the European Civic Service program.<\/p>\n
The program offers young people the opportunity to engage in activities that contribute to the local community and, through hands-on work, develop knowledge and skills in the fields of culture, tourism, and civic engagement.<\/p>\n
Participants will have the opportunity, through practical work and mentorship support, to take part in developing initiatives that contribute to the improvement of Belgrade\u2019s cultural content and tourism offer, as well as the development of new cultural programs and activities for the local community.<\/p>\n
The program is implemented in cooperation with the following organizations:
Museum of the Nineties
KC Grad<\/p>\n
The program includes:
\u25cf engagement in Serbia for 20\u201324 hours per week over a period of 6 months
\u25cf mentorship support and joint educational activities throughout the program
\u25cf monthly financial support in the amount of \u20ac300 during the program<\/p>\n
During the program, participants will have the opportunity to gain experience through the following activities:
\u25cf participating in the preparation and implementation of cultural programs and events
\u25cf contributing to the development of initiatives that connect culture, tourism, and local development
\u25cf gaining experience working in civil society organizations and cultural institutions
\u25cf developing teamwork, communication, and project management skills<\/p>\n
The engagement may include different areas, depending on participants\u2019 interests, such as:
1. event production
2. project coordination and administration
3. digital communications and marketing
4. audience development and cultural tourism
5. fundraising
6. work in galleries and museums<\/p>\n
Who can apply?
The call is open to young people who:
\u25cf are 18\u201330 years old
\u25cf are interested in civic engagement and community work
\u25cf are motivated to contribute to the development of cultural initiatives through practical work<\/p>\n
The program is open to all young people \u2014 prior professional experience is not required. We especially encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds, identities, and interests. Selection will primarily be based on motivation, interests, and willingness to learn and collaborate. <\/p>\n
