The event is organized by the Pe\u0161\u010danik Citizens\u2019 Association and the Center for Judicial Research (CEPRIS).  <\/p>\n<p>This year, citizens &#8211; led by students &#8211; addressed their demands for a safe and dignified life to judicial institutions for the first time. How did the judiciary respond to these demands during 2025, and how did the executive branch respond? What processes are currently unfolding within the judiciary, and what lies behind the daily news about criminal proceedings against former and current ministers, the reports on pardons, the announcements of prosecutorial reorganization and changes to judicial laws, and, finally, behind the first protest jointly organized by judges, prosecutors, and lawyers?   <\/p>\n<p>These and other questions of crucial importance for the future of the judiciary and the citizens of Serbia will be discussed by Miodrag Maji\u0107, judge of the Belgrade Court of Appeals and CEPRIS member; Vanja Bajovi\u0107, associate professor at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law; Bojana Savovi\u0107, prosecutor at the Higher Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office in Belgrade and CEPRIS member; and Vladica Ili\u0107, lawyer at the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights.
