His caricatures, in a recognizable style, with a clear visual language and sharp humor, simultaneously make us laugh, provoke and encourage us to think. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #080809;\">Petri\u010di\u0107 precisely comments on the social and political state of our society, unfortunately (or fortunately) inspired by an inexhaustible source of information and events that shape our reality.<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #080809;\">Du\u0161an Petri\u010di\u0107 lives and works in Belgrade, which assures many of his admirers that, despite everything, due to such giants \u2013 Belgrade is the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #080809;\">Du\u0161an Petri\u010di\u0107 was born in 1946. He graduated in graphics from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, where he also began his professional career. Even during his studies, he became interested in caricature and illustration. He has illustrated numerous children&#8217;s books by well-known domestic and foreign authors, including Du\u0161ko Radovi\u0107, Branko \u0106opi\u0107, and Jovan Jovanovi\u0107 Zmaj, as well as Margaret Atwood and Mordecai Richler. His illustrations have brightened the childhood of many generations. During the 1990s, he lived and worked in Italy and Canada, where he achieved a successful career, and upon returning to Belgrade, he focused on caricature. Tirelessly and bravely, almost on a daily basis, he creates caricatures commenting on the state of our society. He has worked in many newspapers and magazines such as Politika, NIN, Toronto Star, and New York Times, and recently his works have been regularly published by Radar magazine. He has been awarded prestigious accolades both domestically and internationally, including international awards for children&#8217;s book illustrations.        <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #080809;\">The exhibition will be open until November 29 at Kneza Milo\u0161a 3, every day from 10 AM to 8 PM.
