DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, February 10\, at 7 PM\, a panel discussion titled “Belgrade Is Pazar Is the World – Resistance in Novi Pazar in the Nineties and Today” will be held at the Museum of the Nineties.  \nDuring the wars of the Nineties\, Novi Pazar and the entire Sandžak region were not only marginalized and demonized in media controlled by Slobodan Milošević’s regime\, but were also sites of war crimes\, as well as severe and systematic violations of human rights\, including the long-term ghettoization of the population. At the time\, most citizens of Serbia were unaware of these events\, and unfortunately\, very little is still known about them in the broader public today.  \nIn this context\, it is not surprising that students of the State University of Novi Pazar say that only by joining the contemporary student movement have young people from this region felt\, for the first time\, that they are equal citizens of Serbia. \nSpeakers will address the events of the Nineties\, the current situation at the State University of Novi Pazar\, and collective reflections on how and where to move forward: \nAida Ćorović\, activist \nAntonela Riha\, journalist \nSara Mulić\, student \nDavud Delimeđac\, student \nDragan Popović\, historian \n  \nSeating is limited. Tickets priced at 300 RSD are available at the Museum of the Nineties (Kneza Miloša 3\, Belgrade) daily from 10 AM to 8 PM.
